My French press carafe cracked mid-brew on a Tuesday morning
The glass split right at the base about 2 minutes after I poured in the hot water, and I had coffee grounds all over the counter at 6:45 AM. I switched to a steel mesh filter and now brew directly in a Mason jar, no carafe needed, anyone else ditch the glass entirely?

Swapped mine for a mason jar setup after losing two carafes in one year. Figured I was the problem, but honestly the jar holds up way better and I dont stress every morning about breaking another one.
