My coffee gear collection hit 14 different brewers and I didn't even see it coming

I was cleaning out the cabinet above the fridge last weekend and just started pulling things out. A French press from college, a little moka pot my friend brought back from Italy, that fancy pour over set I got for my birthday, you know how it goes. Before I knew it, I had lined up 14 different ways to make coffee on my kitchen counter. Fourteen. It wasn't a plan, it just happened over years of trying new things and never getting rid of the old ones. The weird part is I probably only use three of them on a regular basis. It made me wonder why I hold onto all these tools when a simple filter drip does the job most days. Has anyone else ended up with a pile of brewers they barely touch?

Okay but "coffee gear museum" sounds cool as hell. Each one is a little time capsule, right? Like that moka pot isn't just a brewer, it's the whole story of your friend's trip.

Fourteen and only use three" is too real lol. My kitchen cabinet is basically a coffee gear museum at this point. I keep telling myself the chemex is for "special occasions" but that occasion is basically never.
