I chose a cheap blade grinder over a burr grinder and it's fine

Everyone says you need a burr grinder for good coffee, but my $20 blade grinder from Target makes coffee I like just fine. I tried a friend's fancy burr model and honestly couldn't tell a big enough difference to spend the extra cash. Has anyone else stuck with a blade grinder and been happy with it?

My pressure washing clients often pay extra for brands when the generic cleaner works just as well.

Honestly, I was totally on the "burr grinder only" train for years. Reading your post actually makes me want to dig my old blade grinder out of the cabinet and give it another shot. Maybe I got so caught up in what I was supposed to use that I forgot to just taste the coffee. If it makes coffee you like, that's really the only thing that matters, right?
