Grinder burrs took me 3 hours to swap and I wanted to throw the whole thing out the window

Picked up a used Baratza Encore last week and figured I'd swap the burrs for fresh ones. Simple enough right? Took me over 3 hours because one of the screws was stripped from the factory. Had to drill it out, ended up scratching the housing, and the whole thing felt like a nightmare. Has anyone else dealt with stripped screws on grinders or am I just cursed?

Oh man did you buy it used from a mechanic or something? That factory stripped screw nonsense is just brutal. I had a similar nightmare with a KitchenAid attachment once, stripped out of the box. Drilling it out is the only option but it still leaves those ugly scratches. Baratza usually has decent QC but sometimes you just get the lemon. Honestly at that point I would have just chucked the whole grinder and bought new.
