Cold brew changed my mind about iced coffee after 5 years of hating it
Last month I stopped at Brew Lab in Austin and tried their cold brew. I always thought iced coffee was just watered down hot coffee, but the guy there explained it's steeped for 18 hours without heat. That smoothness with no bitterness convinced me. Has anyone else had a coffee style flip their opinion that fast?

Dude question for you - was it the lack of bitterness that sold you or the actual texture of it? I had a similar moment with nitro cold brew and it was the creamy mouthfeel that got me, not the flavor profile itself. Like it felt like I was drinking something completely different from regular coffee, almost like a dark soda or something.

Not everything needs to be this deep analysis. It's coffee. You pour it in a cup and drink it. The nitro stuff is fine. Tastes like coffee with bubbles. Not life changing. Not a dark soda revelation. Just cold coffee with nitrogen bubbles. People act like they discovered fire with this stuff. Drink it or don't.
