Watch out for those 'free' city tour scams in Prague

I got stuck with a group that kept stopping at overpriced shops for over two hours, turning a quick walk into a four hour ordeal. The guide said it was 'part of the experience' but it was just a sales push. Anyone know a real free walking tour there that doesn't do this?

Oh man, that's the worst (and way too familiar). Fell for a similar one in Barcelona once where the "historical stop" was just a fancy olive oil store. For Prague, the Sandemans New Europe tours are usually legit, they work on tips so they actually try to make it good.

Eh, it's just a tour though right? I mean you're gonna see some stuff either way. Maybe I'm just cheap but idk if it's that big a deal.
