TIL I wasted $600 flying to Rome because I booked the wrong kind of ticket
For 3 trips I booked flights the day they looked cheapest, then a guy in a Rome hostel bar told me Tuesday fares are a myth and the real trick is setting a fare alert 8 weeks out. So which is it, book when it feels cheap or wait for the alert? I'm honestly not sure who to believe anymore.
