Spent $18 on a hostel in Medellin last week and got a private room with AC
The booking site glitched and gave me the wrong rate, but when I showed up they honored it anyway, has anyone else stumbled into a pricing error that actually worked out?

Funny how often glitches like that happen. It's like the universe's way of rewarding people who take a chance on something sketchy. Most people just click away when they see a weird price, but the ones who follow through sometimes get lucky. Reminds me of how broken systems everywhere actually work in your favor if you're willing to push back a little. Like how you can get a discount at a store just by asking nicely or how customer service reps will sometimes bend rules if you don't yell at them. There's a whole pattern of people getting good deals just by not accepting the first answer they get.

That whole "not accepting the first answer" thing is so true... I had a flight once that got overbooked and instead of taking the voucher they offered, I just stood there looking sad, and they bumped me up to first class plus gave me meal vouchers. It's wild how just pushing back a little or not taking the first deal can sometimes work out way better than you'd expect, like that hostel glitch you got lucky with.
