Shoutout to the 'skip the line' pass I bought for the Louvre
Paid an extra 25 euros to avoid a queue that ended up being only a 10 minute wait. Felt like a total sucker watching the regular line move so fast. Anyone have a better trick for figuring out if those passes are actually worth it?

Check the line from a cafe across the street. You can usually see the whole queue and time it yourself. Saved me from the same mistake in Rome.

Just check the museum's social media. People post real-time line updates all the time.
