Pro tip: asked a hotel front desk in Lisbon for their "airport rate" and saved 40 euros a night
I was about to book online at 95 euros when the clerk mentioned walk-in guests get a cheaper rate if they ask for the airport or corporate rate, so I just asked and got the same room for 55, has anyone else scored a lower price by asking in person instead of booking ahead?
