Overheard a guy at the hostel in Prague saying he books flights through a VPN set to India
Tried it myself on a flight from Chicago to London and saved $180, has anyone else found a specific country that drops prices the most?

I always thought those travel hacking tricks were mostly hype, but a hundred and eighty bucks is serious money. Did you check the prices from other countries too, or just go with India straight away?
I've heard some people say that booking from Turkey or Argentina can also drop prices a lot, especially for international flights. But it seems like the savings really depend on where the airline is based and where you're flying to.
I'm honestly surprised the airlines don't block this kind of thing yet, especially with how much they monitor everything else.
Guess I'm going to have to try this next time I book a flight, even if it feels a little sneaky.

Oh for sure, I actually did the same thing when I booked my flight to Europe last year lol. I used a VPN for India and it knocked like $150 off a British Airways ticket, no joke. I tried Turkey and Argentina too but India was way cheaper for that specific route, so it really does depend on where you're going. I was nervous the airline would cancel my ticket but everything went fine, it felt shady but honestly worth it.
