Tried making my own taco seasoning versus the packets

The packet costs $1.29 and I made the same amount for about 25 cents using chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder I already had. It tasted way better and I can adjust the heat. What's your favorite spice blend to make at home?

Seriously, I just read that most packets are mostly salt and cornstarch.

That reminds me of checking the back of a ramen flavor packet once. It was literally the first three things listed. Felt like paying for salty air with noodles attached.
