The dollar store shredder saved my taco nights
My food processor died last Tuesday and I had 3 pounds of carrots for a party platter. Grabbed a $2 hand grater from the dollar store out of pure panic. Now I use it every week, how do you folks shred veggies without fancy machines?

The box grater in my drawer has been collecting dust since I bought a cheap hand one like that, honestly it does the job BETTER for small batches. I grate cheese and zucchini for fritters with it now because it doesnt turn everything into mush like the big machine did. Sometimes the low tech option just wins, no batteries or blades to deal with.
