Spent $12 on a bag of frozen mixed veggies this week feels like a ripoff or a steal?
I cooked with them in stir fry and they lasted four meals, but fresh ones would've cost half as much and tasted better. Does buying frozen actually save money in the long run or is it just a trap?

Oh man, I feel your pain on this one. Frozen veggies are supposed to be the budget-friendly option, but lately the prices have been creeping up so much that it barely seems worth it anymore. The whole "lasts longer and saves money" argument falls apart when a bag costs as much as a full meal from scratch.
