My neighbor swore by frozen veggies for cheap meals and I finally gave in
I've been all about fresh produce for ages, you know, thinking it's better. But my neighbor kept telling me frozen veggies are just as good and way cheaper. Last week I bought a bag of frozen broccoli for $1.50 and it lasted me three stir-fry dinners. Has anyone else made the switch and actually saved money?

okay so you said "frozen veggies are just as good" and i gotta push back a little on that. theyre not exactly the same as fresh, but theyre definitely not bad. frozen broccoli is actually flash frozen right after picking so it can be more nutrient dense than fresh stuff thats been sitting in a truck for a week. i switched to frozen peas and corn for stir fries and honestly i cant tell the difference once theyre cooked. the real win is convenience and no waste. i used to buy a bag of fresh spinach and end up tossing half of it cause it went slimy. frozen spinach i just grab what i need and the rest stays good for months. so yeah you can definitely save money with frozen, just dont expect the same crunch factor for salads or stuff you eat raw.
