My neighbor changed my mind about frozen veggies for dinner

I always thought fresh produce was cheaper but my neighbor Lisa showed me her receipt from Aldi where she got 4 bags of frozen broccoli for $3.20 total. She pointed out there's no waste since it won't go bad in the fridge and it cooks up just as fast as chopping fresh stuff. Anyone else found frozen stuff that actually saves money compared to fresh?

Fresh produce being cheaper is a myth people tell themselves while throwing away half a bag of sad spinach. Frozen broccoli is basically the gold standard of lazy cooking, you just dump it in a pan and pretend you're a real chef. Lisa is a genius and you should buy her a drink next time you see her.
