I finally stopped buying chicken breasts after the church potluck in Dayton last month
I signed up to bring a main dish for 60 people at the potluck and grabbed two whole chickens for $9 instead of the usual $22 pack of breasts. Nobody touched the fancy sliced stuff on the next table, and my pulled chicken with rice and beans was gone in 15 minutes. Why are we paying triple for the boring cut when a whole bird plus a $2 bag of rice feeds way more people?
