Heard someone say frozen veggies are just as good as fresh for meal prepping
I always thought fresh was the way to go, but last week I grabbed a bag of frozen spinach for $1.50 and threw it in a pasta dish. It saved me time chopping and actually tasted the same. Has anyone else switched to frozen for specific meals?

Oh man, "45 minutes chopping a single butternut squash" - I felt that in my soul. I've been there too and it's why frozen veggies have become my best friend when I'm too lazy or tired to deal with all that prep work.

Haha, "just as good" - that's a setup if I ever heard one. I'm the guy who once spent 45 minutes chopping a single butternut squash for a stew, then burned my fingers trying to roast the seeds. So yeah, frozen veggies are a lifesaver for my clumsy self. I started with frozen broccoli for quick stir-fries and now I keep a bag of mixed peppers and onions on deck for lazy chili nights. The texture is a little softer when thawed, but for soups, stews, or anything saucy, you honestly can't tell the difference. Take this with a grain of salt, but I say go for it.
