Frozen veggie bags are lying to you, check the weight
I grabbed a 12 ounce bag of mixed peas and carrots at the discount grocer here in Tulsa, figured I was saving big compared to fresh. Got home and the dang thing was barely 8 ounces when I weighed it for a meal prep, which is a 30% markup I didn't sign up for. Took me two returns and a chat with the manager to figure out they shrink the bags but keep the same price every few months. Now I bring a little scale to the store and check before buying, has anyone else caught this with their local brands?

Weighing bags before buying is the only way now, I do the same with frozen fruit too. Some brands are worse than others, like they shrink the bag but keep the same silhouette so you dont notice until you grab it. Have you checked the store brand versus the name brand on the same scale?
