Dropped $40 on a cheap welding blanket to wrap my cook chamber, and it held temp on a windy night in Amarillo
Cold front came through last Saturday and my offset was losing heat fast, so I doubled up a harbor freight welding blanket and my cook held steady at 250 for the whole packer. It's not pretty and the edges got scorched, but for $40 I'll take it over fighting the wind all night. Anyone running a different setup for cold weather cooks, or am I the only one covering my smoker like a couch?
