DAE feel judges taking freebies at comps is a bit off?

It feels like an unfair edge for big teams with swag to hand out.

Have you ever noticed judges hanging out with specific teams after hours? I saw this at a regional last year where the judges were basically part of the winning team's after-party. They were all laughing and sharing drinks before the final scores were even posted. It made the whole competition feel like a done deal from the start. That kind of buddy-buddy stuff is way worse than just taking some free swag, if you ask me. It just kills the spirit of fair play for everyone else.
