Caught a clip of a pitmaster saying 'bark is just burnt sauce' and I'm still mad
It was on some food show, and he was talking down about a whole category of Texas style. My takeaway is that some folks just don't get the fundamentals of low and slow rendering. Anyone else run into this kind of bad take lately?

Saw a post about it on one of those pop culture blogs. They said it was from a short lived reality competition on a cable channel nobody gets. The whole thing got pulled after like two episodes. Honestly the clip is more famous than the show ever was.
