Spent $80 on a 'premium' online course that was just recycled blog posts

I bought this course about six months ago thinking it would teach me something new. It was all videos, but each one just read out loud from articles I found for free with a quick search. The whole thing took maybe two hours to get through. I felt pretty dumb for not checking reviews first. Has anyone found a good way to spot these junk courses before buying?

Ouch, that's steep! What exactly are they charging for, like a streaming service or some kind of online course? Feels like companies just keep finding new ways to repackage old stuff and call it premium. Makes you wonder what they think their time is actually worth.
