Sat through a 3 hour power outage at a diner in Tulsa and now I keep a headlamp in my glovebox
Power went out around 7pm. Whole place went dark. Nobody panicked. Waitress came out with a box of candles from the back and just kept working. I had a headlamp in my truck because I use it for camping. Grabbed it, clipped it to my shirt, and suddenly I could read the menu again. The guy next to me asked where I got it. Now I keep one in the glovebox, one in my work bag, and one in the kitchen drawer. Batteries last forever. What else am I sleeping on that's this simple?
