Pro tip: My morning routine changed after I saw a 15 minute difference

I started tracking how long each part of my morning took using a phone stopwatch. Turns out I was spending 22 minutes just picking out clothes and scrolling. I cut that down to 7 minutes by laying stuff out the night before and keeping my phone in the kitchen. After 3 weeks the change was obvious - I actually had time to eat breakfast without rushing. Has anyone else done a time audit on something small like this?

and the real kicker is how much those little time sinks add up, right? i mean, 22 minutes just for clothes and phone scrolling is wild when you actually see it written down. i did a similar thing with my shower time, found out i was in there for way too long just spacing out under the hot water. laying out clothes the night before is the real game changer though, makes the whole morning feel less like a scramble.

Hard disagree on the clothes thing. I TRIED laying stuff out the night before and it honestly made me MORE stressed because then I'd lay there in bed second guessing my choice. Like what if I wake up and it's colder than I thought? Or I just don't FEEL like wearing those jeans? Ended up wasting more time changing anyway. That 22 minute window might be part of your brain's natural wake up ramp, forcing you to be more aware of your choices.
