My old shop radio finally gave up the ghost mid-job yesterday
I was out at a site over by the old mill on Route 9, pouring a small slab for a shed. The dust was kicking up bad, and I had my little AM/FM radio going like I always do to keep me sane. Around 2:30 it just started crackling and then went dead silent, no power at all. Took it apart when I got home and the main board is fried, pretty sure moisture finally got to it after 12 years. Anyone else got a piece of gear that lasted way longer than it should have before finally quitting?

That Bosch hammer drill sounds like it might be the older model with the magnesium housing though.

My Bosch hammer drill from 2006 is still kicking somehow. I got it used from a guy who was retiring and it's been through at least 15 years of hard use before I even got my hands on it. The thing has a cracked housing and the chuck wobbles a bit but it still punches through concrete like a champ. I keep expecting it to give up any day now but it just keeps going. What kind of radio were you running before it died?
