My dog forced me to choose between two terrible breakfast foods

I ran out of dog food this morning. So I had to decide between feeding my lab scrambled eggs or giving him the last of my cereal. I picked eggs. He ate them, looked at me like I was an idiot, and then threw up on the rug. Has anyone else's pet made them regret a breakfast decision this bad?
