I noticed a big shift in how people ask questions here over the past year

When I first joined this community, most posts were simple, one-line questions like 'what's the best way to learn guitar?' or 'how do I fix a leaky faucet?'. Now, I'm seeing way more posts that start with a detailed story or a specific personal situation before getting to the actual ask. For example, someone last week wrote three paragraphs about their failed attempt to grow tomatoes on their apartment balcony before asking for advice. I think the change happened gradually over the last 9 or 10 months. It feels like people realized they get better, more tailored answers when they give more context upfront. It's less about quick fixes and more about shared problem-solving. Has anyone else picked up on this trend, or am I just overthinking it?

Three paragraphs about failed tomatoes? That's the new normal now? I guess people really do want their whole life story heard before getting an answer.

My own post about my basil plant last week was basically a novel. We all get a bit carried away sometimes. At least it's not a work email.
