Had a day last Tuesday where everything actually went right for once

Usually my week is a mess of broken equipment or rain delays. But last Tuesday, I had three small tree removals lined up in one neighborhood. First tree came down clean in 20 minutes, no close calls. Second job the homeowner came out and handed me a $50 tip before I even started. Third one had a dead oak that basically fell apart on its own once I cut the main limbs. By 2pm I was done and home. That never happens. Has anyone else had a random day where the universe just cooperated?

Man that sounds like a perfect day. Those are rare in tree work especially when everything lines up like that with the weather and the customers. I had a similar day a few months back where three driveways in a row had no cars and the homeowners already had the branch piles ready to go. Felt like I was living on easy mode for once. Happy for you that you got to knock off early and actually enjoy an afternoon.

Three driveways with no cars and piles already ready? That's basically a unicorn day in this industry. I bet you kept waiting for the other shoe to drop the whole time. Those days remind you why you got into tree work in the first place.
