Saturday morning my AI voice assistant ordered 4 bags of potting soil I didn't need
Was just testing a new grocery delivery integration through the smart home hub. Had it set to auto-order certain things on a schedule. Must have fat-fingered the quantity field in the app. Next thing I know the delivery driver is dropping off 4 bags of Miracle-Gro on my porch. My wife was not amused. Has anyone else had AI assistants just go rogue with ordering stuff?

My buddy Dave set his Alexa to order coffee pods automatically and somehow it ended up buying 20 boxes of decaf. His wife drinks regular and he drinks espresso so that was a fun surprise. They ended up donating most of it to the local church group.

20 boxes of decaf? That's wild, I can't even imagine trying to get through that much coffee you don't even drink.
