PSA: my grocery list app used to just make lists. Now it guesses what I need before I type
Two weeks ago I noticed the app on my phone was putting milk and eggs on the list before I typed anything, and it was right both times. I used to keep a paper list on the fridge and retype the same 20 items into my phone every Sunday night, which took maybe 15 minutes and I always forgot something dumb like coffee filters. Then in January I turned on the suggestion feature just to see what it did, and it started pulling from my past trips and the weekly sale flyer at the Kroger over on Lamar. The first week it added taco seasoning I didn't ask for, but I had bought ground beef, so I made tacos and it kind of got me. It still gets weird about produce and keeps suggesting cilantro when I clearly mean parsley, so I double check those. I'm honestly just happy my Sunday list takes about 4 minutes now instead of 15. Curious if the rest of you let the app fill in your list or do you start blank every time?
