One Tuesday my AI coding helper wrote 3 files at once, and I nearly shipped a bug to prod
Last week I asked my AI coding assistant to refactor a small login script and it spat out 3 files in one go, which felt great until I saw it renamed a function my deploy script still calls. I caught it in review at like 11pm on a Tuesday, patched the call, and pushed fine, but it made me wonder how many people just trust the output and hit merge. Do you read every line the AI hands you, or just run the tests and hope for the best?
