My brother in law swore AI noise canceling would fix my headset, and it kind of did?
My brother in law works at a call center in Tempe and he kept telling me to grab an AI noise cancelling headset because my crew's radio chatter was bleeding into every meeting from my kitchen. I figured it was just him pushing gadgets, but I grabbed one for $89 last week and honestly the background noise is way quieter than my old setup ever got. Now I'm wondering if the AI part is doing the heavy lifting or if I just had a garbage headset before, anyone here messed with these enough to know?
My buddy grabbed one of those last year for the same reason, his dogs going nuts while he worked from home. The noise part worked fine, but he figured out later his old mic was the real problem, it was cheap and picked up everything in the room. Most of these headsets have decent mics on top of the noise stuff, so you're probably getting both fixed at once.
