Is it better to use AI for brainstorming or only for editing?

I used to think AI was best for polishing my writing after I did all the hard work. Then last week I tried feeding it a rough topic and let it spit out ideas for a marketing post. It gave me 5 angles I never thought of in 2 minutes. But now I'm wondering if leaning on AI for creativity makes me lazy. Which side do you land on - AI as a starter or a finisher?

Man, I say use it to start and finish - who cares where the good ideas come from?

Eh I don't know about finishing with it. Like if it helps you get started that's fine, but I feel like you gotta put your own spin on things at the end or it just feels off.
