Hot take: AI writing tools fixed my horrible email style in about 3 weeks

I used to write these super long emails at work that nobody read. Last month I tried this AI rewriter that shortens sentences and adds bullet points. My boss actually replied to my Friday update for the first time in 2 years. Has anyone else noticed their coworkers responding more since using AI for work emails?

You're getting better replies because your emails are actually readable now, not because AI magically fixed anything. Long rambling emails are a huge problem, but calling it "fixing your style" is giving the tool too much credit. It just forced you to be more concise, which you could have done yourself if you took ten extra seconds to edit. People respond to clarity, not fancy formatting. AI bullet points are fine but the real win is cutting out all the worthless filler sentences you were writing before. Your Friday update probably has actual substance now instead of being a wall of text nobody wanted to read.
