A guy at the AI meetup in Chicago told me my demo needed way fewer features and it actually landed a client
Last month I showed my little document sorting tool at a meetup in Chicago and a guy named Dev basically tore it apart. He said I was cramming 6 different features into one screen and nobody could tell what it actually did. So I stripped it down to just one button that sorts files and nothing else. A week later a small law office signed up because they finally understood it in 10 seconds. Has anyone else had to cut features to make their AI tool click with real users?
Wait, did he really say to strip it down or did you decide that part yourself? Cutting features helps, but a single button that sorts files is a pretty different product than a 6-feature tool.
