I finally understood why budgeting tools often fail people | Unpopular Opinions

I used to rely on apps to track my expenses, but they never helped me save. The problem was seeing numbers on a screen did not feel like real money. I started dividing cash into jars for bills, groceries, and extras. This old method made me spend less, and I think more people should try it instead of digital options.

Online bills make cash jars tricky, idk.

That PHYSICAL act of handing over cash makes the cost feel REAL. The jars create a hard limit apps just can't match. It's a simple trick that actually works.

Oh man, my friend did this jar thing last year. He said watching the fun money jar get empty so fast made him skip a ton of impulse buys. It's like the app just showed a number going down, but the jar felt like a real loss.
