Showerthought: running in the rain is way better than not running at all

Got caught in a downpour yesterday and realized I felt more accomplished than if I'd just stayed inside.

Yeah that "more accomplished" feeling is so real. Logan_flores is right about the post-rain vibe being unique. I always end up laughing at myself for getting soaked, but it beats a boring dry walk any day.

Remember that weird smell after a storm? It's called petrichor, and I read somewhere it's from oils in the soil... that fact just stuck with me for some reason.
