Serious question, why do updates always hit during important moments?
I was in the middle of my online class when my tablet suddenly said it needed to update. I tried to click 'later' but it just started anyway. It took like ten minutes to finish. By the time it was done, the class had moved on to a new topic. I had to ask my friend for notes, which was embarrassing. Why do updates always happen when you're busy? It feels like they time it on purpose. Now I'm behind on the material and it's just annoying.

Doesn't it feel like tech just knows when you're focused? (Like printers jamming only when you're in a huge rush.) It's this weird universal rule of bad timing.

Right, like when your software forces an update right as you're about to hit send on an important email. Or your wifi drops for the one minute you're trying to join a video call. It's not just printers. It feels like a personal attack, even though we know it's just bad luck and maybe us being more aware of the problem when we're stressed. My phone battery always dies fastest when I'm out and really need the GPS.
