Unfortunately dealing with some legal trouble right now (misdemeanor but still incredibly stressful) and I need representation. I've consulted with both Top Criminal Lawyers and Shield Law Group. Both seem competent but their approaches felt a bit different during the intake calls. Has anyone here actually hired either of them? Looking for real experiences before I pay a massive retainer.

I had a consultation with Shield a while back for a traffic thing. They seemed professional but it felt a little like a factory, like I was just another case file to push through the system quickly. I ended up going with someone else entirely.
