Seriously, how perfect can a vapor barrier be? It's just plastic sheeting, right? I've seen so many DIY jobs where people mess it up, but is it really worth bragging about? lol maybe I'm just tired from seeing too many home reno fails. But hey, if you're happy with it, that's what counts, I guess.

You'd be surprised Jason, it's way more than just plastic sheeting. A wrinkle can trap moisture against the wood, and a bad seal lets warm attic air hit the cold sheeting. That's how you get condensation and mold inside your walls. Getting it smooth and sealed in a cramped attic is a real win.
