Warning: My attempt at a faster balayage technique backfired

That barrier cream step your friend probably skipped is way more important than people think. Are you sure they explained the full sectioning and foiling part too? I've seen stylists try to cut corners by painting too wide of a section at once, and that's always a bleed waiting to happen. Maybe the "faster" part just means they left out a key step.

My aunt's hairdresser in Phoenix skipped that step once. Disaster.
