Question about using a razor comb versus thinning shears on thick hair
I had a client yesterday with super dense hair who wanted a softer shape, so I had to choose between my trusty thinning shears and a razor comb I've been trying out. I went with the razor comb and it gave a much more blended, natural texture without any harsh lines. Has anyone else found the razor comb works better for certain hair types?

Razor combs are a game changer for that super dense hair. They remove bulk without leaving any of those obvious steps you can get with shears. Just feels more like you're working with the hair's natural pattern, you know?

My stylist in Chicago uses a razor comb on my thick hair and it adds SO much movement. She says it's about cutting into the shape, not just around it, which stops that helmet-head look. You get these soft, broken-up ends that layer way more naturally than a scissor cut.
