Appreciation post: My old shears versus the new Japanese ones I got last month

The difference in how they cut through thick hair is night and day... the new ones just glide. Has anyone else made a switch that felt this huge?

My old shears used to sound like they were chewing through a wire fence. The upgrade is real.

Know that sound all too well. It's the worst when you're trying to get a clean cut and it just fights you the whole way. A good pair that works like it should is a total game changer. Makes the whole job feel less like a chore.
