Can we talk about fitting a match barrel on a Glock 19
Honestly, I followed the common advice to lap the slide with 600 grit paste for a perfect fit, but it actually made the lockup way too tight after 200 rounds. I had to go back and polish the contact points with a fine Arkansas stone to get it right. Anyone else find that lapping can overdo it on polymer frames?

Yeah, the "perfect fit" advice got me too. I turned my slide into a single-shot pistol for a hot minute. Sometimes you just have to shoot the thing to find the real fit.

Doubt it's that deep for most people. Just sounds like a bad part that needed breaking in. Folks online make every little thing a whole drama.
