Watch out for the new liability terms in company contracts
They slipped in a clause making installers responsible for any glass breakage during transport. I caught it before signing, but it could have ruined me financially.

Back in the day, I figured contract details were just boring legal jargon. I used to skim over them, thinking the big points were all that mattered. But stories like yours about the glass breakage clause really opened my eyes. A friend of mine once signed for a delivery job and ended up on the hook for a cracked windshield during shipping. That one line in the contract cost him his whole paycheck for the month. Now I read every single word, no matter how tired I am.

Ever wonder how many people miss stuff like that, @spencery34? That clause is a total trap... they know you're tired from reading all the other pages. It's crazy how one sentence can wipe out your profit on a whole job.
