That one time a custom shower door in Cincinnati took me a whole afternoon to square up

The frame was slightly out of plumb on a remodel, and I spent about four hours with shims and a laser level getting the reveal perfect before I could even set the glass. It felt like the whole day vanished for what should have been a two-hour job. Anyone have a faster trick for dealing with a wonky opening like that?

Been there, that's the worst.

Ugh, that's the worst. I mean, I've started just building a simple wood buck to fit the rough opening first, then hang the door off that. It takes a little longer upfront, but it saves so much headache trying to fight the wonky walls.
