Spent $400 on a new glass scoring tool and it just sits in my truck

Everyone on the crew said the fancy digital angle finder on the cutter would make tricky bevels easy, but I still do them faster by eye with my old hand tool. The battery died on the second job and I haven't charged it since. Am I just too set in my ways, or does anyone else find some new gear more trouble than it's worth?

Man, that's the worst lol. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. My rule is if the old way is faster, the new toy can stay in the truck.

Totally feel that, it's like they change stuff just for the sake of it sometimes. Your truck rule is solid, why waste time on something that just slows you down? New tools should make the job easier, not give you a headache. Honestly, some of the old methods just work better and that's all there is to it.
