Saw a new bank building in Omaha with floor to ceiling glass... and I think it's a bad idea.

I was driving through downtown Omaha last week and they just finished a new bank headquarters. The whole front is one huge sheet of glass, maybe 20 feet tall. Everyone seems to love the look, but all I could think about was the thermal stress and how a single chip from anything would mean a full replacement. The cleaning alone on a panel that size would be a nightmare every week. Has anyone else had to deal with fixing a design like that?

Honestly, that glass probably has way better tech than we give it credit for.

Yeah that sounds like a maintenance nightmare waiting to happen. I'd be stressed just thinking about the heating bill.
