Saw a crew in Denver using the wrong cleaner on a new tint job and it ruined the film.

They were wiping down a fresh window tint with a standard ammonia based glass cleaner, which caused the adhesive to break down and the film to bubble up within an hour. I learned the hard way myself a few years back on a car in my own shop, costing me about $300 in materials and a very unhappy customer. What's your go-to safe cleaner for tinted glass installations?

Wait, so you just use the soapy water mix for the final clean after install? Or is that what you keep in the shop for customers to use long term too?

I just use a spray bottle with water and a drop of dish soap now... works every time.
